How Does Vevara’s Beard Transplantation Work?

Beard transplantation involves transferring hair follicles from the back of the scalp (donor area) to the areas of the face where a fuller, thicker beard is desired. On the day of the procedure, the donor area will be shaved, and a local anaesthetic will be administered to numb the area. The surgeon then will extract individual hair follicles from the scalp.

After extraction, tiny incisions are created in the areas of the face desired where the extracted hair follicles will be placed using FDA-Approved implanters. Vevara’s Beard Transplant procedure is completely safe and effective.

FAQs

Is hair transplant painful?

Hair transplants at Vevara Clinics are performed under local anesthesia, ensuring minimal discomfort. Patients typically feel only mild pressure or tugging. Post-procedure soreness is manageable with prescribed medications. The modern FUE and AFT techniques used at Vevara ensure a virtually pain-free experience.

What are the side effects of a hair transplant?

Common side effects include mild swelling, redness, and temporary scabbing in the donor and recipient areas. These are temporary and subside within a week. At Vevara, our strict post-operative care protocols help prevent infections or complications.

Does transplanted hair look natural?

Yes. With techniques like Activated Follicular Transplantation (AFT), transplanted hair is implanted at the natural angle, direction, and density. Our expert surgeons design hairlines based on facial structure, ensuring aesthetically natural results that blend seamlessly with existing hair.

Will transplanted hair turn grey over time?

Yes, just like natural hair, transplanted hair can turn grey with age, depending on genetic predisposition. Since the transplanted follicles retain the characteristics of the donor area, they age in the same way as your original hair.
